Learn More About the Joint Land Use Study

Welcome from the Project Manager

On behalf of the Chesapeake Science and Security Corridor (CSSC) and Harford County as the project lead, I’d like to welcome you to the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG)- CSSC Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) site. Here you can learn more about the process of Joint Land Use Studies, specific projects undertaken by the CSSC and the partners involved in the projects. This collaboration between the Aberdeen Proving Ground installation and adjacent communities ensures continued success for our region’s top economic engine in executing its research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) missions in support of our nation’s security.

The JLUS process would not be possible without the support from the Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) and its federal funding to execute planning and implementation of JLUS strategies that enhance compatible land use, mitigate encroachment, maximize communication and ensure a high quality of life for those live, work, learn, serve, play and stay here in the CSSC community. Thank you for visiting our site!
